Typically, human interaction is supposed to be necessary for mental stability, not detrimental to it. But when your thoughts are discrepant enough from other peoples’ thoughts, it’s impossible not to be affected by the dissonance of it in your everyday life.




Going by probability alone, I can reasonably expect never to experience connectedness again. That isn’t pessimism, it’s realism.

*the negative value on my scale would more appropriately be marked “frustrated”, but that doesn’t really follow the line of reasoning. so we’ll just have to make do with “lonely”.
